Brocolitia Roman Fort is just humps and bumps, but behind it is The Temple of Mithras,  a 3rd century temple built to worship the Roman God Mithras and Coventina's Well   where many coins left as offerings were found.

Parking in a layby by the side of the road unusual in that it has a pay and display meter. Access: From the lay-by you can see the humps and bumps of the covered over roman fort of Brocolitia.
